Senior Tax Accountant

Requirements
Solid track record of experience with tax preparation, audits and financial reporting
Will possess a minimum of 5+ years relevant tax experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and thorough knowledge of GAAP (Masters in Taxation a plus)
Computer proficiency with tax software programs (Lacerte, Pro FX), Peachtree Accounting, QuickBooks, trial balance software programs, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
Experienced in dealing directly with the clients
Ability to consult and work with projects from start to conclusion
Committed to continuing their education and growing professionally
Outstanding client presentation skills plus excellent written and verbal skills
Strong supervisory skills and the ability to review the work of others

Responsibilities
Prepare corporation, S corporation, individual, partnership and trust income tax returns
Take responsibility for all phases of an assignment including planning, compliance and review
Research complex tax issues and make clear and concise conclusions from research

Maintain billing records, generate reports, and prepare invoices on a periodic basis.

Maintain and update library publications.
Photocopy, collate, and bind corporate, individual, fiduciary, and partnership tax returns.
